MediaSoundHamburg at ACCES
As part of our long-standing partnership with The Music in Africa Foundation (MIAF), we were present at the “ACCES”, The Music In Africa Conference For Collaborations, Exchange And Showcases, in Dar es Salaam/Tanzania in November 2022.
Since 2011, we have been promoting international cultural exchange between the music metropolis of Hamburg and other countries through MediaSoundHamburg. A special focus is on the promotion and networking of young talents from Africa: Since 2018, we have therefore been working closely with MIAF. Through regular scholarships – more than 100 in the past eleven years – we enable MediaSoundHamburg scholarship holders from all over the world to engage in intensive personal collaboration with renowned experts.
Through personal exchange with participants and organizers at ACCES, we sustainably expanded and further intensified the cooperation between MIAF and MediaSoundHamburg in order to further promote young talents in film music, game music and sounddesign. By our stay we were able to personally revive and expand our partnership with MIAF after the Corona crisis. Many thanks to the Ministry for Culture and Media Hamburg for making this possible with its funding.
Music journalist and composer Stephan Eicke, representing MediaSoundHamburg, opened up new perspectives and opportunities for creative artists to profitably market their music in the long term with his workshop “Your Music in Film, TV & other Media”.
